At the beginning of any new year, we usually have plans to make the best out of it in regards to health and exercise goals, and we believe that this should also be the case for our dogs.
Our dogs are carnivorous creatures who thrive on fresh, raw foods. Their bodies are biologically designed from head to tail to utilize and absorb nutrients in their freshest form, and even adding just small amounts to any bowl can have life changing effects on the longevity and health of our furry companions.
These are just a handful of our favorite things to feed our pack. As always, you want to start with a slow introduction process by feeding just 1/4 of the recommended serving size and increase until you meet the right amount for your dogs body weight or size over the span of a few days.
Frozen raw foods (like OC Raw Rox and Primal Butcher Blends), goat milk and power greens are intended as minimal substitutes and can replace dry food to a maximum of 4 tablespoons per day. For example: if you feed 1 cup a per feeding, you can take out 2 tablespoons of dry food and replace it with frozen raw, goat milk or greens.
Now it’s your turn to find your favorite bowl toppers and change the way your dog eats for the better. Oh and side note: you can find most of the items in this email in our freezer section.
And always remember, you are never alone in the transitioning process. We are here to help answer all questions you may have.
