This is the BEST litter!

Pure Pet is proud to carry Boxie Cat in Carbondale, Illinois. What we don't love is those annoying aspects of litter care like crumbly clumps, dust clouds or odors. We don't like it when litter care is a chore, and we especially don't like it when our cats have a problem with the litter box. We couldn’t find a solution on the market, so in 2009, my furry co-founder, Goldie and I decided we would do it ourselves!

Wonderful locally owned store with a good variety of dog food and treats that are often not available at the big chain pet stores. They have toys and accessories for pets. Everything in the store is of top quality. They will hold items for a customer for up to 2 weeks if you need an item but are not able to get to the shop right away! The employees are all very helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. They welcome leashed pets and enjoy getting to know both the pet and the pet parent. The shop has pet washing stations that can be used instead of making a mess at your house. There is an area in the shop where they carry pet friendly baked goods. The store has special events throughout the year, including, but not limited to, pet pictures with Santa during the holidays. When you visit the Carbondale location, don't forget to say hello to the resident "Watch cat". Just be aware that Miss Kitty can be very protective of her personal space!
